Every December, our school raises money for the Poor Clare sisters in Mission. The Poor Clares are a religious order that lives a vow of poverty and relies completely on donations. Our hope is that the money we raise on this dress down day is enough to provide the sisters with a nice Christmas meal. This year our school raised $410.00 for the sisters on our United Day.

After hearing the news and seeing the devastation left behind from the floods, we decided to raise money and donate it to the Migrant Workers Flood Relief run out of St. Anne’s parish in Abbotsford. The theme of this month’s dressdown day was Pajama Day! We raised $753.00 for this cause.
