We are not the sum of our weaknesses and failures; we are the sum of the Father's love for us - St. John Paul II
About Me
I am blessed to be a husband to Fabiola, and dad to Elio, Francesca, Giulia and Zaccheo. We live on a small farm and spend some of our free time growing vegetables and flowers and trying to get some fruit from our fruit trees. At least I think they are fruit trees. We are a family that has a lot of extended family, so cousins and Zios and Zias abound. I dream about fishing, but the reality is that my main role is to tie flies onto my kid’s lines and unsnag their snags. I enjoy independent music and movies as well as cooking.
I recently completed my graduate work in Pastoral Studies at St Mark’s College at UBC. My learning there has impacted how I live my faith as well as how I teach.
A philosophy that guides me is that I try to live my life and do my work in the context of the Good News of Jesus. In my teaching, I invite my students to see themselves in the truth of who they are: the beloved children of a God who knows them and cares for them in a way that cannot change. He does this because it is who he is.
