Important Information

BASKETBALL SEASON THANK YOU FROM MR.K:
Congratulations on a great basketball season CCS! There are no more morning or after school practices but we encourage athletes to continue practicing basketball skills at recesses and at home.

Thank you to the families and especially the coaches and referees who supported our program by driving, supervising and developing our student athletes. Our coaches, Mr. Dahliwal, Mr, Beazer, Mr. Barrios, Mrs. Garcia are such a blessing. A special thanks to "THE BEST" staff including: Head coaches Mr. Figueroa (Gr 5M EA), Mr. Dennis Waweru (Gr 5NP EA), Sponsor teachers Mr. Heah, Miss Paraiso, Mrs. Miller, Ms. Manuel, Mrs. Hosein, Mr. Klaponski, who volunteer their out of classroom time to offer these extracurriculars to the children. As each activity requires a CCS Staff supporting each team, this is a big logistical effort and a generous gift to our community.

TAX RECEIPTS:
We still have many tax receipts that have not yet been picked up. Please drop by the office to pick it up.

LOST AND FOUND:
Please see photos at the bottom of the Feed for items that are currently in the lost and found.

HOLY CROSS SPRING CHEERLEADING CAMP:
The Holy Cross Cheerleading team is hosting a Junior Crusader Day Camp on Saturday March 8, 2025 for students in Grades 2-7. For more information and registration, please see the link below, or contact ysamus@holycross.bc.ca for more information.

PARENT PARTICIPATION
Seeking a volunteer for the Lost and found coordinator position. Ideal candidate: motivated, efficient and organized. Must be available weekly to ensure items do not become backlogged. Also computer savvy as required to post photos of lost items to Friday feed. If interested please email the parent participation coordinator.

If you are unable to attend a volunteer shift, kindly remove yourself from the task with as much notice as possible. If there is more than 24 hours notice, the task can be reposted and hopefully a replacement can be found . If there is less than 24 hours notice, email the parent participation coordinator. Failure to report an absence will result in a no show fee of $25 per missed shift. Three no shows, and the family will be removed from the program and will have to pay out the remaining hours at the cost of $30 per missed regular hour and $60 per missed maintenance hour.

Ad hoc requests are tasks that you did not sign up for on the website or a task that took longer than expected. Please submit these within one month of completion for approval. Anything submitted beyond that date, and approval is at the discretion of the coordinator.
