Important Information

 SHROVE TUESDAY:
The Knights of Columbus will be hosting Pancake breakfast for all the students on Shrove Tuesday. Ingredients are as follows:
Syrup (Aunt Jemima) Ingredients: Glucose, Glucose-Fructose, Water, Cellulose gum, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Salt, Caramel Colour, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Hexametaphosphate, Sorbic Acid, Sulphites (Contains Sulphite Ingredients)

Buttermilk Pancake -Just Add Water- Mix (Krusteaz) Ingredients: Enriched wheat flour (barley), sugar, dextrose, leavening (sodium bicarbonate, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate), soy flour, canola or soybean oil, salt, buttermilk powder, modified corn starch, sodium stearoyl-2-lactylate.
Contains Wheat, soy, milk and barley.  May Contain Eggs and Tree Nuts 

Parents are invited to send their own pancakes with their children if the are specific dietary needs (Gluten free, dairy free…)

LOST AND FOUND:
We will be posting photos of lost and found items weekly as it has been challenging to deal with the amount of lost and found items that accumulate in a month. Items will be saved for one week before they are donated to charity. Please see the photo at the bottom of the Feed for this week’s items.

ASH WEDNESDAY:
There will be Ash Wednesday mass at 9:00am. Please join us! Due to this school mass, we will not be having our usual Friday mass.

PARENT PARTICIPATION:
Families, there are roughly three months left to complete your parent participation hours. The deadline is May 31st, 2025. Families who have not completed their hours will be given an invoice and billed in June 2025. The requirement is 34 regular hours and 6 maintenance hours for a total of 40 hours. Sign up for a workbee if you have not met your maintenance commitment! 

Kindly note any ad hoc requests must be submitted within one month of completion. Ad hoc tasks are applicable when a task took longer than expected, or you did not sign up on the website in advance. Approval past the one month deadline is at the discretion of the coordinator. 

If you are unable to attend a volunteer shift, kindly remove yourself from the task with as much notice as possible.  If there is more than 24 hours notice, the task can be reposted and hopefully a replacement can be found .  If there is less than 24 hours notice, email the parent participation coordinator.  Failure to report an absence will result in a no show fee of $25 per missed shift.  Three no shows, and the family will be removed from the program and will have to pay out the remaining hours at the cost of $30 per missed regular hour and $60 per missed maintenance hour.
