GRADE 7 ANNUAL BUSINESS OF THEIR OWN SALE
On Tuesday, June 16th, Mr. Grosjean’s Grade 7 class will be hosting a Marketplace Sale as part of the Junior Achievers Program: A Business of Our Own. The students have created small businesses to explore entrepreneurship, including budgeting, marketing, and production.

This year’s products include stickers, bracelets, trading cards, bookmarks, fidgets, keychains, and other jewelry — all handmade and priced between $1–$5.

Each class will have a designated time Tuesday afternoon to visit the marketplace and shop. All the money raised will be donated to Tegemeza, a charitable organization that supports needy families in Kenya (started by Mr. G’s grandmother.)

Thank you for supporting our Grade 7 entrepreneurs and for helping make a real difference in the lives of families across the world.

CAMBRIDGE UNIFORMS
Cambridge Uniforms is updating our size charts to GARMENT measurements.
As they transition from body measurements to garment measurements please pay close attention and follow the measuring instructions.
This note will appear at the top of all garment measurement size charts:
"These measurements are based on the finished size of the garment. To find your size, compare measurements with a similar garment at home that fits well."

How to use the garment size charts.
• Take an existing garment in your child’s closet and lay it FLAT.
• Measure your child's garment as instructed in the size chart.
• Compare your existing garment measurement to the size chart and select the corresponding size.

Please place your orders by June 15th.
Happy Back to School Shopping!

PARENT PARTICIPATION UPDATE
Families,

As we begin the 2026/2027 Parent Participation Program year (June 1, 2026 – May 31, 2027), we are also transitioning to an updated Onvolunteers user platform.

The new OnVolunteers portal will look familiar to parents, with the same core functions for signing up for volunteer tasks and submitting ad hoc hours. The main change will be a shift to a side-menu layout. Families will also be able to add additional users (such as grandparents or relatives) to help track hours, and a mobile app is expected later this summer.

For the 2026–2027 PPP year, the participation requirements will be:

  • 32 regular volunteer hours

  • 6 maintenance hours

  • 2 fundraising hours (NEW)

Transition timeline: Access to the new portal is expected in early June. We propose continuing to use the current system for the first two weeks of June, then transitioning families to the new system around June 14. This will allow time for setup and communication of login details, and help families become familiar with the platform before the next school year.  During this transition period, the AD HOC request will be non operational.  Families can submit AD HOC tasks once the new platform is in place.
