LEARNING UPDATES
Learning Updates have been published and are visible in the parent portal. STUDENT LED CONFERENCE SIGN UP
Student Led Conferences are on April 9th and 10th. Please click here for the sign up link.

COFFEE AND TEA SOCIAL

The Welcoming Committee is excited to invite you to a complimentary coffee and tea social hosted by the CCS Welcoming Committee on Tuesday, March 31st, from 2:45-3:15 PM (or until the coffee and tea run out). This informal gathering is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow parents and help strengthen our school community. The event will be located by the fence near the pick-up area, if it’s raining we will be by the Parish. We hope to see you there for a cup of coffee and great conversation.

SKATE / HELMET RENTALS
Rental fees for Skates ($3.50) and Helmets ($1.75) will be withdrawn on Monday, March 16.

SPELLING BEE
Congratulations to Evee Shin who won our school Spelling Bee. He will move on to represent us at the CISVA finals on April 27th.

TRACK AND FIELD

Gr 3-7s are informed that practices for our CCS Track and Field team will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning April 7th 3-4pm.  Good runners, water bottles and an energetic spirit are all that's necessary.  Our coaches are keen to celebrate our athletes through hard work at training and two track and field meets April 27 and May 5th.  Parent volunteers are welcome at practices but please contact Mr K at:  mklaponski@cloverdalecatholicschool.ca

PARENT PARTICIPATION UPDATE
Families, the school year is flying by! Please make sure you are staying on track to complete your required volunteer hours before the May 31, 2026 deadline.

We encourage families to sign up for available tasks as soon as possible so you are not rushing to complete hours at the end of the year. If you cannot find a task that works with your schedule, please reach out to your child’s teacher, the school administrator, or the parish office with ideas on how you may contribute and earn your hours.

If you are unable to attend a scheduled volunteer shift, please remove your name from the task as soon as possible so another family can sign up. If it is less than 24 hours’ notice, please email the Parent Participation Coordinator.

Please note that failure to report an absence will result in a $25 no-show fee per missed shift. After three no-shows, families will be removed from the program and required to pay out the remaining hours at $30 per regular hour and $60 per maintenance hour.
