Any active email address can be used to login.

Your order deadline is: November 10 2025
All orders will be shipped to the school. If you miss the deadline, your order will be  shipped directly to your home with a shipping fee applied.

WALKATHON 2025

Thank you so much to all of our parent volunteers and alumni for helping us out with Walkathon! Although the weather wasn’t great, spirits weren’t dampened!

UNITED DAY
The theme will be Halloween Colours day. Students are allowed to wear halloween colours, accessories, halloween themed tshirts… Please NO masks, costumes or weapons. Our proceeds from this day wil lgo to support a new school in Malawi that is home to 160 students (2 grades of 80 students.) This school has run out of funds for desks and chairs and the students are currently having to sit on the floor. A photo is attached below for you to see. This school is part of our network of schools in the Young Citizens of the World organization that our school was proudly part of starting up 6 years ago. As alwasy an extra $1 for popcorn! Thank you in advance for your help and support.

ATHLETICS NEWS
Basketball season (Nov-Feb) is approaching and we are so excited.  Badminton season (Jan-March) starts later.  We have great coaches who are keen to work with our fine athletes.  The grades 5, 6 and 7 basketball weekly practice schedule has been posted on the athletics page of the school website. The permission form for winter athletics (BASKETBALL and BADMINTON) has been posted as well. Any students considering these winter sports should fill out the online permission found HERE

WELCOMING COMMITTEE COFFEE SOCIAL
The Welcoming Committee is excited to invite you to a complimentary coffee social hosted by the CCS Welcoming Committee on Tuesday, October 28th, from 2:30-3:30 PM (or until the coffee runs out). This informal gathering is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow parents and help strengthen our school community. The event will be located by the fence near the pick-up area. We hope to see you there for a cup of coffee and great conversation. 

HANDMADE POPPIES FOR SALE
One of our parents spends months crocheting poppies by hand. They are a beautiful way to honour our veterans. They will be available for sale starting Monday, November 3 for a suggested donation of $5. Exact cash only please.

Join us for Faith & Family Night with the Abbotsford Canucks, for just $27 a ticket!

Each season, the Abbotsford Canucks host our annual Faith & Family Night, a special event that brings the community together to celebrate faith, fellowship, and hockey. This year’s event will take place on Sunday, December 7thSee poster below to purchase tickets!

Schools that sell 30 or more tickets will enjoy exclusive experiences, including:

  • A post-game on-ice photo with one of our players

  • A photo opportunity with the Calder Cup

  • A prayer led by our team chaplain

PARENT PARTICIPATION

The participation window runs from June 2025 to May 2026. Are you on track to complete your Parent Participation Hours by May 31, 2026?

Please log in to your OnVolunteers account to review your recorded hours and ensure everything is up to date. The requirement is 34 Regular Hours and 6 Maintenance Hours for a total of 40 hours.

Incomplete hours will be charged at $30 per missing Regular Hour and $60 per missing Maintenance Hour.

Thank you for supporting our Sun-Oka Fruit Farms Apple and Community Values Coupon Books fundraisers! We sold 370 Coupon Books! Grade 3 won the Top Selling Class Pizza Party! Bella in Kindergarten was the Top Seller with 16 books sold! Bella has won 4 Vancouver Giants tickets! As well, 7 more random prizes were handed out! Congratulations to all the prize winners!
