Important Information


1) RE-REGISTRATION FOR CURRENT FAMILIES- Nov. 30- Dec. 16
A reminder that all online forms must be completed, PAD form and Pastor Authorization letter submitted to the office by December 16th.

2) CCS CHRISTMAS CONCERT
A reminder that our CCS Christmas is on December 17th at 1:00pm(Matinee) and 6:00pm (evening show.) Doors will open 30 minutes before. There will be no early entry. Entry is by donation, with all proceeds to cover the cost of the production. Everyone who makes a donation will be entered to win a $50 Captain’s Oven gift card!
Children can be dropped off at the school at 5:30pm, but not before as staff will be having their dinner.

3) ST. VINCENT DE PAUL DRIVE- LAST CALL
Last call for donations for the St. Vincent de Paul Christmas drive. We have very few items donated so far. Items that they are looking for: warm winter gloves, socks, scarves, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, boxed candy/chocolates, boxed/bagged  cookies, jam, peanut butter, pasta sauce, baked beans.

4) CLAYTON FAMILY CHRISTMAS MARKET
We’re excited to announce that the Cloverdale Catholic School Choir will be performing at the Clayton Holiday Marketplace! 🎶

Where:  Clayton Community Centre - 7155 187A St

Date: Saturday, December 7th

Time: 10:30am to 10:50am

5) PARENT PARTICIPATION UPDATE
Families, thank you for your eagerness to share your time and skills with our school and Parish. Volunteer tasks are being scooped up within minutes of being posted to the website. This is causing some frustration and anxiety for others, worried there may not be enough hours for everyone. To address this, we added and increased positions such as am playground supervisor, and two traffic supervision roles before and after school.  Please remember that as the year progresses, there will be more tasks available.  Between sporting events, sacramental events and fundraising initiatives, there will be enough hours for families to complete their hours.

Work done at the Parish through various ministries will count for parent participation hours. The Knights of Columbus are actively seeking members and they facilitate many volunteer opportunities. The fundraising committee will need help with the annual gala so reach out to them and ask how you can get involved.

6) PARENT FUNDRAISING GROUP UPDATE
Thank you for all of your support with our Christmas fundraisers and with our family movie night! These were all a big success and a big help in working towards meeting our fundraising goal this year.
