Important Information

Class Photos:
Please ensure that your child comes to school in full uniform for our class photos on Wednesday.

Gala:
- We are still in need of bottle donations for our bottle game. Any alcoholic beverage is welcome- bottle of beer, bottle of wine, …. So far we have only had 1 bottle donation. Please bring your bottle to the office no later than Wednesday, April 3.
- Any other donations for the gala should be brought to the office by Wednesday, April 3. Thank you to all families who have supported our gala- we hope to make this our best one yet!

Mite Boxes:
Please remember to bring back your Mite boxes after Spring Break. All of the money you have collected will go towards supporting our seminarians.

Registration for 2024/2025:
Registration for the upcoming school year will need to be completed on or before the Student Led Conferences on April 12. Starting the week of April 2, any time that you are in the school for any reason please stop by the office to complete registration. If you would prefer to set up an appointment please use the link for Student Led Conferences above. You will see a sign up option for Registration.

Lost and Found:
Please click here to see items from March. Unclaimed items will be donated on April 3.

Athletics:
Please keep your eye out for Track and Field permission forms that will be coming home next Wednesday. This year, we are also introducing a Road Runners running club. Information for that will also be coming soon!

Hispanic Ministry Mass with Archbishop Michael:

Our Hispanic Community will have the honour to have the celebration of the Sunday April 21st Spanish Mass at 4:00pm presided by Archbishop J. Michael Miller

Parent Participation Update:
Families, the deadline to finish parent participation hours is fast approaching! Hours are due by May 31st, 2024. The requirement is 40 hours, 6 of which must be maintenance hours. Please note maintenance hours are different from regular hours. You must sign up and attend a work bee or complete other maintenance related tasks in order to fulfill this requirement.

If you are unable to make a volunteer shift, remove yourself from the task with as much notice as possible. If there is more than 24 hours notice, the task can be reposted and hopefully a replacement can be found . If there is less than 24 hours notice, email the parent participation coordinator. Failure to report an absence will result in a no show fee of $25 per missed shift. Three no shows, and the family will be removed from the progam and be required to pay out the remaining hours at the cost of $30 per missed regular hour and $60 per missed maintenance hour.

Our Totally 90's Gala is on April 6th, 2024. This 19+ event is a fun night out for all friends, families & staff of Cloverdale Catholic School & Precious Blood Parish. Would you like a professional family photo? Now is your chance! Sessions will take place on Saturday, April 13th, 2024 at the Parish Centre. All proceeds from the $30 sitting fee will go directly back to the school. Sorry no pets are permitted.

All you need to do is visit any Return-It Express Location and enter the CCS phone number (604) 574-5151 at the kiosk. Print your labels, stick them on your empties & help CCS!
