Less than two weeks left to complete your parent participation hours! There are plenty of vacant volunteer tasks such as traffic supervisor, lunch supervision and crossing guard available. Follow the link below to sign up today.

Non completion rates are as follows: $30 per missing regular hour and $60 per missing maintenance hour. Families who have not completed their hours will be billed June 15, 2023
Friendly reminder to submit your ad hoc tasks within ONE month of the task in order for it to be approved. Anything past that date, will be approved at the discretion of the coordinator. Any Ad hoc tasks for the 2022-2023 school year must be submitted BEFORE May 31, 2023, else they

MAINTENANCE UPDATE
Saturday, May 27 - FINAL WORKBEE OF THE YEAR!!!
This is your last chance to attend a workbee for the 2022/2023 school year, and your last weekend to do maintenance hours before the May 31 deadline. Sign up through OnVolunteers, there are at least 20 spots available. We have a TON of weeding to do, so if you want to bring extra helpers, you are welcome to do so. If you have a new (or old) weedeater that you are dying to use, or if you are really excited about hacking down blackberry bushes, please sign up to come on Saturday!!
(Please note, CCS students can only be credited for volunteer hours, not for Parent Participation hours. And remember that ALL hours, including any Maintenance ad hoc hours, MUST be submitted by May 31st or you will not get the credit.)
SUMMER MAINTENANCE
We are looking for a team of parents to commit to weeding and watering a section of the parish and school grounds at least once a week over the summer months (accomodations can be made for vacation time). Any work you do is credited towards the 2023/2024 school year. If you are interested in being part of the Summer Maintenance Program, please email maintenance@cloverdalecatholicschool.ca
MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR POSITIONS FOR NEXT YEARWe have several unfilled Maintenance positions available for the coming school year:
Indoor Maintenance Coordinator - supervises cleaning inside the school and church
Outdoor Maintenance Coordinator - supervises maintenance jobs on the school and parish grounds during workbees.
Tool/Equipment Manager - Helps to repair/maintain all the tools and power equipment used during the workbees (does not include maintenance on the lawn mowers). This position must be filled by someone who has experience in repairing power tools.
If you are interested in any of these positions, please email maintenance@cloverdalecatholicschool.cafor more information. Ideally, anyone interested in the position for next year could attend the May 27th workbee as a training session, or even just to see if the position is something that fits with your schedule.
