Important Information

  • Two’s Day will be our United Day for this month. Students are invited to come to school dressed in any theme that depicts the number 2! We are celebrating this unique day because it is the 22nd day on the 2nd day of the week, of the 2nd month of the year 2022! All students are asked to bring a toonie to help us cover the cost of our Chalice sponsor child’s annual sponsorship fee. Please consider a donation to help us continue to support our sponsor child. Due to ongoing k-12 health and safety regulations, we are still unable to have popcorn day.

  • Kindness Day is on Wednesday- students are invited to wear pink tops or any other bright coloured top with uniform bottoms. There is no collection for this day.

  • Spirit Wear- A reminder that students who have purchased Spirit Wear are not permitted to wear this instead of uniform. We will have the first Monday of each month dedicated as a Spirit Day where students can wear their spirit wear on top. Student who don’t have spirit wear may wear any red, blue, white or black top with uniform bottoms- we don’t want anyone to feel left out.

  • K-12 school health and safety guidelines have not changed, with the exception of gatherings and visitors to schools. We are again able to gather for school masses (at 50%) and visitors are now again allowed into the school. This means that there will be opportunities once again for inside supervision on rainy days as well as parent volunteers. Please contact Mrs. Keely Wray for more information on what is available. On March 15th there will be a briefing with the Education Minister and Dr. Henry with updates regarding current health and safety guidelines in schools.

  • CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs. Krammer who celebrates 25 years of teaching in CISVA this year. She was presented with a 25 year certificate by Associate Superintendent Lesya Balsevich last week (photo attached)
