3:00pm- 4:00pm: Badminton practices (Gr. 6, 7) start

Wednesday, March 2- Ash Wednesday
9:00am- Ash Wednesday Mass led by Gr. 3
2:30 pm- Dismissal

9:00am- School mass led by Grade 6/7

*Please note sports practices will not be put on the Friday Feed as there are often changes made by coaches that may
not be reflected in the Friday Feed. Please go by your coaches information. All games, first and last practices of the season
will be on the Friday Feed as well as on the google calendar.

 

 
 

Important Information

  • Report Cards go home today. Please read the cover letter that accompanies the report cards as it explains the change in report card template and language.

  • Chalice- Thank you for your generosity for this month’s United Day! We were able to raise enough money to cover the cost of our sponsor child!

  • Spirit Wear- Due to the fact that Spirit Wear will not be arriving until the first or second week in March, we will be postponing our Spirit Wear day for this month. Monday will not be a Spirit Wear day.

  • Shrove Tuesday pancake breakfast- the PB Knights of Columbus will be hosting a Shrove Tuesday pancake breakfast for our students again this year. Ingredients are listed at the end of this Friday Feed. If your child is unable to eat pancakes, please feel free to send your own pancake or treat from home.

  • Ash Wednesday Mass- Please note that church gatherings are still at 50%, therefore we may not be able to accommodate all parents that are wanting to attend Ash Wednesday Mass. Once we are at 50%, we will not be able to accomodate any more parishioners.

  • Rapid Antigen Tests- If you did not receive your Rapid Antigen Tests this week, please come to the office to pick yours up. For clarification, these are only meant as a backup for you to use at home if your child(ren) gets sick and you need to do a test to determine if they have COVID or not. The intention is not for families to do these tests right now.

  • Kinsa digital thermometers- If you are not able to get yours today, please come to the office to pick one up. We have a limited amount available.

  • Spring Break Baseball camp- see poster attached

Pancake Ingredients

Dear CCS Families,

Below is a list of the ingredients for the pancakes, syrup and drinks your Precious Blood Parish Knights of Columbus will be serving on Shrove Tuesday in anticipation of the Lenten season.  Please inform the school if your child is not permitted to participate in these items or send your own substitutes.  The Knights of Columbus would be pleased to accommodate you and your child if at all possible.  Please contact Cloverdale Catholic School with any questions or comments.

Syrup (Aunt Jemima) Ingredients: Glucose, Glucose-Fructose, Water, Cellulose gum, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Salt, Caramel Colour, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Hexametaphosphate, Sorbic Acid, Sulphites (Contains Sulphite Ingredients)

Buttermilk Pancake -Just Add Water- Mix (Krusteaz) Ingredients: Enriched wheat flour (barley), sugar, dextrose, leavening (sodium bicarbonate, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate), soy flour, canola or soybean oil, salt, buttermilk powder, modified corn starch, sodium stearoyl-2-lactylate.
