GRADE 7 ANNUAL BUSINESS OF THEIR OWN SALE
A BIG thank you to all families who supported the Gr. 7 Business of Their Own Sale this week. We raised over $1200 for Tegemeza! As a Catholic School, we are called to care for the poor, and with your ongoing support all these years through our United Days and events like this. Your generosity has helped so many different people and changes so many lives- Thank You!

HOT LUNCH

After carefully reviewing the survey results from our Hot Lunch Survey, we have decided to make a change to our program next year. Along with Alannah Festejo and Poy Duque, who have already spent a lot of time looking into options (thank you both!), we will finalize the plan as soon as it has all been put together- stay tuned!

AWARDS CEREMONY
We will be doing our CCS Awards Assembly on Tuesday at 1:00pm. Parents whose children have been chosen to receive an award have been contacted to ensure that they can be present to see their child receive their award. We will also be handing out the Track and Field awards at this assembly from the recent CISVA meet.

CAMBRIDGE UNIFORMS
Cambridge Uniforms is updating our size charts to GARMENT measurements.
As they transition from body measurements to garment measurements please pay close attention and follow the measuring instructions.
This note will appear at the top of all garment measurement size charts:
"These measurements are based on the finished size of the garment. To find your size, compare measurements with a similar garment at home that fits well."

How to use the garment size charts.
• Take an existing garment in your child’s closet and lay it FLAT.
• Measure your child's garment as instructed in the size chart.
• Compare your existing garment measurement to the size chart and select the corresponding size.

Please place your orders by June 15th.
Happy Back to School Shopping!

PARENT PARTICIPATION UPDATE
Families,

As we begin the 2026/2027 Parent Participation Program year (June 1, 2026 – May 31, 2027), we are also transitioning to an updated

Onvolunteers user platform.

Transition timeline: Due to delays in receiving access to our new OnVolunteers portal, we will continue to use the existing portal for now.

During this transition period, the AD HOC request will be non functional.  Families can submit AD HOC tasks once the new platform is in place.

For the 2026–2027 PPP year, the parent participation requirements are:

  • 32 regular volunteer hours

  • 6 maintenance hours

  • 2 fundraising hours (NEW)
    ON VOLUNTEERS UPDATE
"We continue to wait for access to set up our new OnVolunteers portal. We will continue to use our old portal for next week, and supervision tasks will be added today.

Important: If you have ad hoc hours for June, please do not try to enter them now - that feature has been disabled until we are set up in our new portal. Please keep track of all your June ad hoc hours and enter them into the new system once you receive your new login details. Thank you for your patience!"
