Welcome back to a new school year!

Dear Parents,

I hope you have all had a wonderful summer break! We will be going over several important points at our back to school evening, however please take note of these important reminders prior to the first day of school.

1) Grade 3 and 7 families received class lists on Friday so that you know which class your child is in.

2) Supervision starts at 8:30am and as such there should be no unsupervised students prior to this time. The warning bell is at 8:45am, followed by the final bell at 8:50am. Students will be lined up in the morning in their grades. Please click to see the maps for morning line up and after school pick up.

3) Students in Grade 6 and 7 are only permitted to wait at the parish center after school with written permission from the parents. You can email these to me or send in a copy to the office. Please note that the parish center is not school property, therefore permission is required to release students to that area. If your child walks home, written permission is also needed.

4) Parents are once again permitted to enter the school property in the mornings and after school, however, parents are not permitted to enter the school building with their child in the morning. We are asking that parents only access the school building through the main doors for security reasons, and only if there is a specific reason. After school, parents are asked to wait outside for their children. The students will be lined up in their grades for pick up.

5) Please remember that the speed limit is 10km/hr in the school zone, and everyone is asked to use the crosswalk to cross over to the school.

6) Please do not send any peanut products to school as we have severe peanut allergies.

7) As always, students must be in proper uniform- top Marks items only, solid black shoes.

8) Back to School Evening is on September 8, starting at 5:30pm in the gym, followed by hot dog dinner (only for those who signed up) and classroom sessions. There will be two 15 minutes repeat sessions. Childcare will be available at the playground starting at 5:15pm.

We are looking forward to welcoming back all of our students on September 6th! Please be reminded that the first day back is a noon dismissal.
