School Closures Due to Snow

According to the weather forecast, winter weather is on its way. Temperatures are dipping below zero this weekend and into next week with the possibility of snow.

In the event of snow, the school Principal, Pastor, and PEC Chairperson confer very early in the morning regarding the safe operation of the school. If it is deemed necessary to close the school a decision will be posted on the website no later than 7am. Following that posting, a call will be made to CKNW 980 to announce the closure.

Even if the school is open on a snowy day, families are urged to use their own judgement regarding whether or not it is safe to come to school. While it may be safe for most families, there is always the possibility of an unplowed, snowy hill that you do not feel safe traversing. Do not take unnecessary risks.
