Important Information

  • Please note that moving forward our Mass days have moved to Friday mornings at 9:00am. Please ensure that your child is at school on time so that Mass is not disrupted by latecomers. Mass attendance is mandatory and is to be treated like every other school morning.

  • Walkathon:
    -
We have raised $10, 088.00 so far! Keep the collections coming! If we can double our goal of $20,000, Ms. Paraiso and Mrs. Krammer will shave their head and Mr. Heah will allow the students to choose any hairstyle and colour they want for him! We will make a donation on behalf of our school to the Cancer Society-The challenge is on!!

-Walkathon weekly slips due Monday- lucky prize draw for students who have raised $50 or more for the week.
    -
Please indicate if the pledge is an online pledge, a cash donation or a check (made out to Precious Blood Parish).
-Please be reminded that only donations of $20 and more are eligible for a tax receipt. Attached is a sample pledge from for you to look at that covers the 3 scenarios mentioned above.
-We are still in need of some bigger prizes- Please consider donating a prize.

-Money and Pledge forms are not to be brought to school until the week of October 25th

  • Uniforms- Please note that moving forward, Top Marks will only be offering a unisex Polo Shirt. There is still some stock left of the girls polos, but they will be discontinued once the remaining stock is done. The unisex polos are roomier and will fit for much longer. They are also a better fit to have over the PE shirts.

  • Treats from home- Please be reminded that as per COVID health and safety protocols, there are to be no food treats brought to school to share. If you choose to send treat bags for the class (birthday, Halloween…) please make sure there are no food items. Food items will be sent home again.

  • Teacher Award for Excellence- Nominations are open for candidates for the 2021 Prime Minister’s Teacher Award for Excellence. If you feel strongly about nominating one of our exceptional CCS teachers, please follow this link

  • Global Year of Service- From our Kids for Christ team, this is open to all families to participate in! We hope to invite more families from CCS to join in this fun activity which is in line with CISVA theme for this year, One Family, One Hope in Christ.

    Here is the registration link:

  • Communication Survey- Thank you to those of you who completed the communication survey. The majority of parents appear to be happy with school/home communication and particularly find the Friday Feed helpful. There were a few requests for a school app, however after some research and communication with schools that have or had one, it doesn’t appear to be a tool that is as functional as it may perhaps sound. It becomes one more place to have to look for information. We are working on making our website more user friendly and will be doing this over the next few months. An alternative to an app is to make our school website a shortcut on your mobile device- in a way it serves like an app. Here is a link that explains the simple process:

  • Parent Participation Reminder- Just a reminder to all families that ad hoc (unscheduled) tasks must be entered in to the OnVolunteers system within one month of when you do the task or the hours will not be counted. Also, there are volunteers currently needed to count Mass-goers the next two weekends, and lots of leaf-raking tasks available. Sign in to OnVolunteers to see all available tasks.

  • PEC news: The following PEC members will be serving our school community this school year:
