FEEDING FUTURES GRANT
We still have some grants available for Feeding Futures and I am reaching out to see if any families in need still require some support to procure groceries. I am currently in talks with Rondriso Farms to see if we can arrange a summer produce box program for some families who would like access to local and fresh produce for their families. If you are a family in need that requires such support, please email me directly. As always, all communication remains confidential.
LOST AND FOUND
Please see below for this week’s Lost and Found items.
PARENT PARTICIPATION UPDATE
Dear Families,
This is a reminder that the deadline to complete parent participation hours is May 31, 2026.
Each family is required to complete 40 total hours, including 6 maintenance hours. Please note that maintenance hours are different from regular volunteer hours and must be completed by signing up for a work bee or other approved maintenance-related tasks.
Important Reminders:
If you are unable to attend a scheduled volunteer shift, please remove yourself as early as possible.
If you provide more than 24 hours’ notice, the shift can be reposted for another volunteer.
If you provide less than 24 hours’ notice, you must email the Parent Participation Coordinator.
Failure to report an absence will result in a $25 no-show fee per missed shift.
After three no-shows, families will be removed from the program and required to pay out remaining hours at the following rates:
$30 per missed regular hour
$60 per missed maintenance hour
