Important Information

BADMINTON FINALS
Congratulations to all of our badminton athletes who played in the zone finals this week. Many made it to the CISVA finals that will be happening the week of April 20- Good luck athletes!

SOIL DONATIONS
We are getting ready to plant and grow veggies and berries in our school gardens and are in need of soil. If you are able to donate a bag of soil that would greatly help us- if you are able to donate a bag, please bring it to the office or drop it off under the stairs of the music portable. Thank you!

AGM
Please mark your calendars for our AGM on May 7 at 6:00pm. Among other important information, we will be sharing staffing news for 2026/2027.

TRACK AND FIELD

Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:05pm- 4:00pm (April 7,9,14,16,21,23,28,30; May 7, 12)
** Athletes must attend after school practices to be eligible  to compete at track meets

Road Runners
Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday at 8:20am (April 8, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 29; May 1, 4, 6, 8, 13, 20, 22
** Athletes are expected to attend at least one morning Road Runners practice per week

KIDS FOR CHRIST RSVP
Kids for Christ will be next Friday from 3:00pm - 4:00pm. Although you have completed a permission form, we still need an RSVP so we know how many students needs a snack and drink. Please RSVP here.

PARENT PARTICIPATION UPDATE
Dear Families,

This is a reminder that the deadline to complete parent participation hours is May 31, 2026.

Each family is required to complete 40 total hours, including 6 maintenance hours. Please note that maintenance hours are different from regular volunteer hours and must be completed by signing up for a work bee or other approved maintenance-related tasks.

There are currently many volunteer opportunities available on the website, including a variety of tasks for the upcoming Trivia Gala night, making it a great time to complete your remaining hours.

Important Reminders:

  • If you are unable to attend a scheduled volunteer shift, please remove yourself as early as possible.

  • If you provide more than 24 hours’ notice, the shift can be reposted for another volunteer.

  • If you provide less than 24 hours’ notice, you must email the Parent Participation Coordinator.

  • Failure to report an absence will result in a $25 no-show fee per missed shift.

  • After three no-shows, families will be removed from the program and required to pay out remaining hours at the following rates:

    • $30 per missed regular hour

    • $60 per missed maintenance hour
