ST. VINCENT DE PAUL FOOD DRIVE
You are invited to bring a non-perishable food item to the Christmas concert to support the St. Vincent de Paul Society during this very busy season. They are most in need of the following items: canned tuna and canned meat, baked beans, chunky soup, and chilli - a big thank you in advance from the members of the SVDP!
UPDATE ON MRS. HOSEIN
As you may have heard, Mrs. Hosein is on a temporary reduced work schedule due to her health. She’s planning to take a week off before returning, hoping to make it in time for the Christmas concert. We’re glad she’s taking a much-needed rest. Of course, losing our Music Director for two weeks before the concert has been a challenge. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Mrs. Krammer, Mr. Figgz, and Mrs. Wray for stepping up and helping ensure the show goes on. With my absence this past week, it’s been even more difficult, but our school is in great hands! A huge thank you to all staff as well. Everyone has had to step up and take on more to cover everything. We appreciate your understanding and support for any changes or adaptations that might be necessary if Mrs. Hosein isn’t back.
FRASER HEALTH “HEALTHY SCHOOLS COMMUNICATION TOOL KIT
Fraser Health has developed a toolkit with monthly health promotion messages for you to share with your school communities. The purpose of this toolkit is to ensure schools in our region have access to easy-to-share, up-to-date health promotion messages to increase awareness of important public health information, resources and services for families.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT- please read important parking notice
**The parish’s Simbang Gabi will be happening the same week as our Christmas concert, which means that parking is going to be challenging as we are accommodating both the parish and school patrons. Please come early to secure parking, or park on the street. We had the same situation last year and it all worked out, so we are positive that it will once again work out. Please practice patience as you try and navigate the parking lot.
LOST AND FOUND

HOLY CROSS CRUSADERS BASKETBALL
Holy Cross will be holding their Christmas break basketball shooting camp for all girls and boys in Gr. 4-7 who are interested. Please click here to access the registration form.
PARENT PARTICIPATION
With less than four weeks left in 2025, we kindly remind you to review your Parent Participation Hours and ensure you are on track to meet the program requirements.
Each family is required to complete:
34 regular volunteer hours
6 maintenance hours
The deadline for completion is May 31, 2026.
Fees for uncompleted hours are as follows:
$30 per missing regular hour
$60 per missing maintenance hour
As outlined in the Parent Participation Policy, all ad hoc volunteer tasks must be submitted within one month of completion for approval. Any submissions after that timeframe will be reviewed at the discretion of the Parent Participation Coordinator.
Please note:
A “no show” for a scheduled shift without prior notice will result in a $25 penalty per missed shift.
Three no-shows will result in removal from the program and billing for any outstanding volunteer hours.
