GINGERBREAD MAN SALE
Our Grade 1 class will once again be hosting a Gingerbread Man sale on Wednesday. Suggested donation of $2.00 to go to the Door is Open- a Catholic charity that supplies food for the less fortunate residents of the Downtown Eastside.
ST. NICHOLAS DAY
St. Nicholas will be visiting the students on Friday and will be giving the students a candy cane. Ingredients for the candy canes are as follows: Sugar, water, artificial flavours, titanium dioxide, tartrazine, allura red, brilliant blue. May contain: soy

NOEL FESTIVAL
The proceeds from the tickets go to the BC Burn Fund, a worthy cause. It would be great for the school community to support the CCS Choir & Students and their performances at the Noel Festival on Fri. Nov. 28th th & Fri. Dec. 5th from 3:30 to 5:30pm.
DECEMBER WELCOMING COMMITTEE COFFEE, TEA, HOT CHOCOLATE SOCIAL- DEC 4
The Welcoming Committee is excited to invite you to a complimentary coffee, Tea and Hot Chocolate social hosted by the CCS Welcoming Committee on Thursday, December 4th, from 3-5PM (or until the coffee runs out). This informal gathering is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow parents and help strengthen our school community. The event will be located inside the Parish Centre in the small kitchen during the Purdy’s and Christmas poinsettias and plant pick up . We hope to see you there for a cup of coffee and great conversation
HOLY CROSS APPLICATION DEADLINE
The Holy Cross Open House was well attended and a large number of applications have already been submitted. We do not want to miss any of our feeder school students. Therefore, if you have not done so already please ensure you have filled out an application. Applicants from families that filled out the pre-approval prior to the Open House have already been forwarded to the parishes. Those families will receive confirmations of acceptance earlier than others. The goal of the school office is to have all families who have applied informed no later than January 12th. Due to the pre-approval process some will be informed prior to the holidays.
CHRISTMAS CONCERT- please read important parking notice
**The parish’s Simbang Gabi will be happening the same week as our Christmas concert, which means that parking is going to be challenging as we are accommodating both the parish and school patrons. Please come early to secure parking, or park on the street. We had the same situation last year and it all worked out, so we are positive that it will once again work out. Please practice patience as you try and nagivat ehte parking lot.
We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Christmas Concert, featuring this year’s musical play, “Christmas Eve, the Girl Who Saved Christmas,” along with special performances by the CCS Choir, Bands, String Ensemble, and all the classes. This joyful celebration of music and faith brings our entire school community together in the true spirit of Christmas.

PARENT PARTICIPATION
Families,
Training for new Children’s Liturgy of the Word presiders is this weekend, and there are still spots available to register. Please attend one mandatory session.
Saturday, Nov 30 at 10:30 AM
The session will be held in the Parish Centre and include a short post-Mass meeting.
We are looking for new adult presiders to help with the Children’s Liturgy of the Word during the 11:00 AM Sunday Mass at Precious Blood Parish. This is a wonderful way to help young children (ages 3–6) understand the Gospel—and earn Parent Participation hours.
After training, volunteers preside about once a month from December to June (approximately 1.5 hours per Sunday)
