WALKATHON 2025
WE SURPASSED OUR GOAL!! $29, 760.00 was raise by our CCS community- what an amazing accomplishment! Thank you everyone for your hard work and support during our Walkathon. Congratulations to our top earners who received big prizes, our Gr. 3 and 4 classes who raised the most money, Kindergarten who just fell short behind our Gr. 3s, as well as to all of our smaller prize winners. WAY TO GO UNITED!

WELCOMING COMMITTEE COFFEE SOCIAL
The Welcoming Committee is excited to invite you to a complimentary coffee social hosted by the CCS Welcoming Committee on Tuesday, November 18th, from 2:30-3:15 PM (or until the coffee runs out). This informal gathering is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow parents and help strengthen our school community. The event will be located by the fence near the pick-up area. We hope to see you there for a cup of coffee and great conversation

CHRISTMAS CONCERT
We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Christmas Concert, featuring this year’s musical play, “Christmas Eve, the Girl Who Saved Christmas,” along with special performances by the CCS Choir, Bands, String Ensemble, and all the classes. This joyful celebration of music and faith brings our entire school community together in the true spirit of Christmas.

To make this event truly special, we are inviting Sponsors to help support our Music Department. Your generosity will directly support our students’ musical endeavours—helping us provide instruments, sheet music, and performance opportunities that inspire creativity and confidence in our young musicians.

    Recognition in our concert program - full page, on event signage.

    Recognition in our concert program - half page.

LOST AND FOUND

PARENT PARTICIPATION
Families, we are looking for new adult presiders to help with the Children’s Liturgy of the Word during the 11:00 AM Sunday Mass at Precious Blood Parish. It’s a wonderful way to help young children (ages 3–6) understand the Gospel—and earn Parent Participation hours.

Commitment:

  • Attend one mandatory training session: Nov 23 or Nov 30 at 10:30 AM in the Parish Centre (includes a short post-Mass meeting).

  • After training, preside about once a month from December to June (1.5 hours per Sunday).

Volunteers must have an up-to-date Criminal Record Check.
