March 26 Update from Mr. Borkowski and the Ministry of Education

Parents,

I would like to begin by thanking the many families who have reached out with words of support and encouragement.  It sounds corny, but it really is true that "we are all in this together."

I have heard from a number of parents with questions about why we are moving to an online learning model.  As you will read in the attached document from the Ministry of Education, the decision to move to online learning was made at the highest level of the Provincial government for the safety of students, staff, and parents.  Like everyone else, we are trying to make the best of a very difficult situation.  I am hopeful that staying connected to teachers and friends through school will be a positive for the kids.
