Important Information

1) SPRING CONCERT
Thank you to everyone who attended our spring concert! It was a great event put on by Mrs. Hosein and the staff. A special thank you to all of our parents who helped with baking, decorating, clean up… Your support of our 50/50, door donations, raffle tickets and concession sales helped us to cover the cost of rental equipment and the services of our sound engineer- Amazing!

2) SURPRISE!
The students were promised a surprise if they met our walkathon goal- well, they did and then surpassed it, beating a CCS record! Our students will be treated to a special day with lots of fun!

3) MISSIONS WEEK 2025
Every year we hold a Missions Week to encourage awareness of Missionaries and their work.  In particular we focus on the work of Audrey Burm and Help Burkina Faso Canada.  Over the last 6 years our students have raised over $10,000 and have contributed to building a school, kitchen, water wells, classroom furniture and supplies and sports equipment for the children of Pousga in Burkina Faso.  We encourage you to take a few minutes with your children and go to the website:   www.helpburkinafasocanada.com   The website has many pictures of the projects your children have supported as well as the children who have benefited.

This year Missions Week is June 9th - 13th.  Our project is to hold a Book Sale.  We are asking all of our students to donate their used books to our sale.  During Missions Week they will be invited to buy “new” books - the proceeds of which will all go to Help Burkina Faso Canada.  We are collecting donated books starting May 20th until June 6th.  Please work with your children to sort out suitable books in good condition and send them to school (in a bag).

Thank you for your ongoing support of our Missionary work at CCS.
God Bless
Mrs. Krammer
