Important Information
1) SCHOOL CLOSURES:
There is possible snow coming this weekend and into early next week. As a reminder, all school closures are communicated via the REMIND app that all parents should have signed up for in September. Closures will also be posted to the school website by 7:00am.
2) VALENTINE’S DAY TREATS
A reminder that any Valentine’s Day treats that are sent to school must be Peanut Free, or you must have shred the ingredients with the classroom teacher beforehand.. Treats that are not peanut free and have not been approved by the teacher will not be handed out. Student health and safety remains our priority at CCS, and we have many students with food allergies. There are many great options that have a peanut free label, so we encourage those over ones that are not labelled peanut free.
3) VOCATIONAL LIVE IN:
The Seminary of Christ the King will be having a vocational live in next weekend for any boys Gr. 6-11 who are discerning the religious life. If you are interested, please let me know I can can forward the information to you.
4) PARKING LOT SPEED:
We are starting to see an increase in speeding again through our school parking lot. Please be reminded of the 10 km/h speed limit. Please respect the speed limit and the safety of our families.
5) PARENT PARTICIPATION:
Families, please check your Onvolunteers accounts to see how many hours you have completed. We are more than half way through the program. The deadline to complete hours is May 31st 2025. For those short on hours, please check the website regularly. If you are having trouble finding tasks that fit within the school week, remember that volunteer work done at the Parish will also count towards the program.
