Important Information
School Re-registration:
We will let families know when re-registration opens. We are still in the process of updating a few items. We expect this to be very soon and will send out an email to let you know. New registrations will open in early January.
Advent Booklets:
Your child will be bringing home a family advent reflection and prayer booklet this week. Please keep your eyes open for it. We hope that this will provide you an opportunity to spend some time together in prayer and reflection during this advent season.
Feeding Futures Grant:
A reminder that our school has grant money that is intended to help families that need support with food procurement. Christmas time can be an expensive time of year, so if your family is struggling financially and would like some support please email me directly (cheah@cisva.bc.ca). All communication is kept confidential
Dental Resources:
Public Health has asked us to share the following resources with our families.
· Healthy Kids Program - children under the age of 19 years may be eligible for basic dental services.
· Canada Dental Benefit - children under the age of 12 years who do not have access to a private dental insurance plan.
· UBC Dentistry - offers a free dental program for children 12 years and younger. Please see the attached application form.
· Affordable dentistry options for children - Fraser Health Authority
St. Nicholas visit:
St. Nicholas will be visitng CCS on December 6. All students will receive a small candy cane. Please note that the candy canes are peanut free.
Family Advent Wreath lighting:
CCS families are invited to sign up to light the advent wreath before our weekend masses. Please email parish.pb@rcav.org if your family would like to take part.

Return-It Bottle Refund Program:
All you need to do is visit any Return-It Express Location and enter the CCS phone number (604) 574-5151 at the kiosk. Print your labels, stick them on your empties & help CCS!

Parent Participation Weekly Report:
Families, we are nearly three months into the school year, how are your hours looking? Are you on track to complete your hours by the deadline of May 31st, 2024. If not, please check the onVolunteers website regularly. Last minute tasks are always available. The Parish will need help to run the Christmas bazaar this weekend on November 25th.
