Community Adaptive Soccer

One of our school's neighbouring sports organizations, Surrey United Soccer Club, is launching a brand new Adaptive Soccer Pilot Program this month. One of our CCS school families has been involved in making this program a reality and would like to share the information about the program for all that might be interested. Surrey United “Super Soccer” adapted program aims to join children and youth so that everyone can play, barrier free. It is inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding. Sports transform lives every day, everywhere. Through the power and joy of sports our aim is creating a world of inclusion and respect – one athlete, one volunteer, one teacher at a time. Regardless if child or youth has challenges with autism, ADHD, mental health, behavioural, developmental disability, or intellectual disability it is our goal for them to thrive and play with smiles on their faces, in a fun and safe environment. Program details and registration can be found here: https://www.surreyunitedsoccer.com/supersoccerprogram or contact Ali Wilkinson directly at aliwilkinson@shaw.ca and she will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
