CCS Wellness Day Report

CCS held its first ever “Wellness Day” on Wednesday, April 24th. It was a great day filled with fun activities and reminders to take care of ourselves not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. Some of the activities included personal reflections, gratitude journals, stretching, relaxing and listening to music, and exercising.

Our school was decorated with banners and positive messages all over the walls. Thanks to Faith, Sabrina, Erin (all CCS alumni), and their friend Amanda for helping out! #choosekind

To conclude our day we had a visit from special guest Lindsay Sealey who talked to all the grades about anxiety and super hero strategies for being bold and strong. Thanks to Lindsay for her presentation!

It was a great day to be a part of CCS. Taking care of our own mental health will lead us to being better able to appreciate the gifts that God has given us and spread His love to others.
