Important Information
WALKATHON
Week 2 Total Slips are due. We will be collecting all the total slips for week two so please be sure to send it to school with your child(ren.) We are still in need of prizes- small or big prizes are appreciated! A big thank you to the very generous donations that have already been made!
HOT LUNCH
All of the information regarding our new hot lunch program was sent out yesterday. Here it is once again.
UNIFORMS
Boys will be permitted to wear their shorts until October 9. After the Thanksgiving weekend, boys will be required to wear long pants. A reminder that only Cambridge Uniform pieces are now permitted. We will be reaching out to parents if we notice that your child(ren) is not wearing proper uniform pieces.
ATHLETICS
If your child is playing in an after school game and you are wanting to take your other children at the same time, please do not collect them from the class. Parents are required to complete an absentee form ahead of time as they would with any early pick up. It becomes very disruptive to the teacher when children are being unexpectedly pulled from class. Mrs. Jangula or Mrs. McNee will go and get your child from the classroom.
WORLD EDUCATOR’S DAY- October 5
On Monday, we celebrate World Educators’ Day, a special day to thank all the incredible educators at CCS, including our amazing teachers, EA’s and Office Admin. Their dedication and passion for their work are evident in everything they do for our students. Please take a moment to express your gratitude to our educators this Monday; they’ll truly appreciate it!
STUDENT HEALTH
Please click here to see the October Health Letter from Fraser Health.
LUNCHTIME GOLF CLUB WITH FR. RICH
We had our first golf clinic today with Gr. 3! Students had lots of fun with Fr. Rich. The next one will be Gr. 4 on Wednesday, October 7.

FROM THE PARISH
We are excited to invite all youth from Grade 7 to 12 to our JCRU Fall Kickoff, an evening to reconnect, meet new friends, grow in faith, and officially begin another year of youth ministry together! The event will be on Saturday, October 3rd, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Precious Blood Parish Centre.
The evening will include icebreakers, games and sports, sushi dinner, a faith talk, and small-group conversations. More importantly, it will be an opportunity for our young people to build friendships, and discover how Christ continues to call each of us into a life of faith and purpose.
Youth are also encouraged to join us for the 4:30 PM anticipated Mass before the event. To sign-up, please click this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfOhDwZnr7vgOeoyKJayr-iq_Rtp0IQeTWfAEDDHSxrIr-Sag/viewform
