IMPORTANT: School Emergency Broadcasting System

Dear Parents,

One of the ways we communicate with our school parents is through broadcasting text messages in emergency or urgent situations using the Remind text message system. It is an effective way to relay urgent messages with time-sensitive information. I will use this for school closures (snow days, power outages,…) and will also use it if we ever find ourselves in an emergency situation where I need to get information out to you immediately (school lockdown, earthquake…). We will divide families by last name for text alerts.

Families A to H, your class name is CCSATOH. On your smartphone, open your browser and go to the following link: rmd.at/ccsatoh. If you don’t have a smartphone, text @ccsatoh to (519) 488-6890.

Families I to M, your class name is CCSITOM. On your smartphones, open your browser and go to the following link: rmd.at/3eh66b. If you don’t have a smartphone, text @3eh66b to (519) 488-6890.

Families N to S, your class name is CCSNTOS. On your smartphone, open your browser and go to the following link: rmd.at/9c238h. If you don’t have a smartphone, text @9c238h to (519) 488-6890.

Families T to Z, your class name is CCSTTOZ. On your smartphone, open your browser and go to the following link: rmd.at/372hfa. If you don’t have a smartphone, text @372hfa to (519) 488-6890.

**ROGERS mobility customers, you need to enable push notifications as Rogers does not allow direct text messaging from Remind.

I will be sending out a test message next week to ensure that all groups are receiving the message.

God Bless,

C. Heah
