Primary Robotics workshop
Grade 6 boys (3:00pm) and girls (4:00pm) basketball teams away game at Star of the Sea. (Boys depart at 2:15pm, girls depart at dismissal)
Tuesday, January 10
Grade 5 boys basketball team (teams 1 and 2) away game at Star of the Sea. (Boys depart at 2:15pm, girls depart at dismissal)
Wednesday, January 11
2:30pm dismissal
Thursday, January 12
Grade 5 boys (3:00pm) and girls (4:00pm) away game at St. Catherine’s School. (Boys depart at 2:15pm, girls depart at dismissal)
Friday, January 13
9:00am- School Mass
Grade 6 boys basketball tournament at John Paul 2 Academy (boys depart CCS at 9:30am)
Grade 7 boys basketball tournament at IC Delta school (Boys depart at 11:00am)
Important Information
Happy New Year! I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas break and our best wishes to you for the coming year.
Registration- It is time to register your children for the 2023/24 school year. Every family currently in the school, even if your child has just started this year or this month, needs to re-register each and every school year. Go to our school website and click on the Re-Register Now button on the homepage to download a registration form. This form will be taken off the website after the due date which is next Friday, Jan. 13th. You will need to come to the office in person to re-register after the 13th and a $25 late registration fee will apply.
Parent Participation Update:
We made it to Christmas break! Some housekeeping issues before the New Year. Please check your onVolunteers account to ensure there are no missing hours or discrepancies with your logged hours. If there are any issues, please email the parent participation coordinator atParentparticipation@cloverdalecatholicschool.ca
Please note, Ad hoc hours are to be submitted only if you did not pre register on the website. There have been instances where duplicate tasks have been submitted. Please only submit an ad hoc if the task was not on the website, or if you were a drop in at an event.
Parent participation hours are due by May 31, 2023. 34 regular hours and 6 maintenance hours for a total of 40 hours. Non completion rates will be applied as follows and billed June 15, 2023
$30 per regular hour
$60 per maintenance hour
As always, regularly check the onVolunteers website for volunteer opportunities. The school would greatly appreciate help with day to day tasks. We require an individual to open the classroom shutters and supervise the drop off zone in the am. This role now earns 45 minutes a day. Please consider signing up!
