Service Opportunities for the Parish
Below is a list of service opportunities at the Parish. Any hours done for the Church can be applied towards Parent Participation Hours. If any of these opportunities sound goo to you, please contact Rosanna at the Parish office.
Maintenance: Parish Centre
- Ceiling tile spray painting
- ceiling grill cleaning
- gym storage room general cleaning
- window blinds cleaning/maintenance
o with regards to the blinds, if there is a parent in the school who is in the business of window covering, I would like to get a quotation on replacing the blinds with more modern ones.
- The Parish is also looking for a committed Assistant Maintenance Coordinator to “apprentice” under Ray Poitras for a bit but eventually take over. This is what is on the Parish Bulletin. I don’t know if there would be a parent who would be interested but maybe grandparents would.
o VOLUNTEER PARISH ASSISTANT MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR NEEDED Our Parish grounds and buildings are always in need of looking after. Ray Poitras, our Volunteer Maintenance Coordinator for many, many years, is in need of an assistant who can eventually take over from him. We are looking for a caring parishioner who is semi– or retired with knowledge and experience in general building maintenance. If you or someone you know is willing and able to share your time and talent to keeping our Church property in working order, please call the Parish office to let us know so we can arrange a meeting with Ray Poitras.
