*Please note sports practices will not be put on the Friday Feed as there are often changes made by coaches that may not be reflected in the Friday Feed. Please go by your coaches information. All games, first and last practices of the season will be on the Friday Feed as well as on the google calendar.


Important Information

  • Thank you to everyone who donated to our United Day on Wednesday! We will be presenting a check for $500 to Archbishop Miller for the RCAV Truth and Reconciliation collection.

  • Walkathon- Please submit pledge sheets and payment if you have not yet done so. We would like to wrap up our collections so we can hand out prizes and announce our grand total!

  • Agape Street Ministry candy collection- if you have any leftover halloween candy please bring them to the school office and we will donate them to Agape.

  • Dress Like a Saint Day- Students are invited to come to school dressed like a saint to celebrate All Saints Day.

  • Virtual 3 Way conferences sign up- PLease click here to sign up for 3 Way Conferences that are happening on November 3, 4, 5. Please be reminded that Friday, November 5 is a non-instructional day for students. This link does not take you directly to the sign up page if you are trying from a personal device.   • Treats from home- Please be reminded that as per COVID health and safety protocols, there are to be no food treats brought to school to share. If you choose to send treat bags for the class (birthday, Halloween…) please make sure there are no food items. Food items will be sent home again.

  • Interim report cards are going home today- please sign and return the form no later than November 2.

  • Heads Up for Christmas concert- All CISVA schools have been asked to keep their Christmas productions to a virtual event and not do in-person events for safety reasons. We will be doing our production of “Arrest you Merry Gentlemen” as planned, and will be recording it for sharing with the parent community. Stay tuned for more information.

  • Parent Participation-Thank-you to everyone who has been raking leaves! A reminder for all tasks but especially leaf raking to please register for the task on OnVolunteers FIRST and to sign in and out at the parish office when you go to rake. If the office is closed please email maintenance@cloverdalecatholicschool.ca with the date and time you raked. Please DO NOT enter leaf raking into ad hoc. If you are registered for the task there is no need to enter anything into ad hoc.

  • Roundabout procedures- Please remember that when you enter the roundabout in front of the school, you must yield to traffic that is already in the roundabout (as directed by the yield signs)- there have been a few close calls, and we want to ensure that there are no accidents.

    YEAR LONG FUNDRAISER:

    Return It - Bottles 

    Visit ANY Return- It Express bottle depot. 

    Go to the kiosk, type the school phone number (604) 574-5151 , print the labels, sticker the label to the bag, drop the bag there and go...donating made easy!!  

     GET INVOLVED- PARTICPATE IN THE PARENT FUNDRAISING GROUP:

    ALL TIME COUNTS TOWARDS COMMUNITY HOURS- Listen in on a meeting, bring new fundraiser ideas, lead a fundraiser or offer a helping hand
