Congratulations to Taysen Hernandez for a great effort at the CISVA Spelling Bee finals, as well to our Grade 5 Readers are Leaders team who competed in the regional finals!
Please keep our Grade 7 students in your prayers as the first group of confirmands prepare to receive the sacrament of Confirmation this Sunday.
Walkathon News
The forecast called for rain all week, but God had different plans for us! What a great week for walkathon- no rain for any of our classes! Our students and staff had a lot of fun walking in our cohorts to honour all the people who generously donated to our walkathon. Our students represented our school well as they walked their routes in our community. We will be collecting money and tally slips next week and hope to have a grand total announced the week of May 10th. Please send in your money and pledge sheets to school starting Monday, and remember to include friends and family who donated online!
Thank you to everyone who brought in a donation for United Day today! Your ongoing generosity is greatly appreciated.
We will be having class photos on Tuesday, May 4th. Please ensure that your child has their proper uniform pieces, including sweater.

Work Bee this weekend- Saturday from 9:00am - 12:00pm. If you are registered and unable to attend, please unregister to allow other volunteers to register. If you plan to be late please contact maintenance@cloverdalecatholicschool.ca. All no show spots will be available for drop in at 9:30am. Please bring gardening gloves and gardening tools especially for weeding. We could also use an extra push mower!
